NEFESCH

Nefesch
Lecture
Born in El Salvador, Nefesch entered the world of magic by starring in his own television show —Nefesch Street Magic—when he was in his early twenties. With no props and no budget, he was forced to invent his own tricks and illusions. What began as necessity quickly became innovation: these original effects would later be published and shared with magicians around the world. To date, Nef has authored over ten books and dozens of magic tricks and routines, many of which are performed internationally.
After moving to Europe, Nef became a finalist on The Next Uri Geller in Greece and later appeared on La Grande Magia on Italy’s Canale 5. These high-profile performances were just the beginning. Behind the scenes, Nef established himself as one of the most creative minds in the field—consulting for television and stage productions across Russia, India, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, England, America and beyond. He has helped countless magicians shape their first theatre or TV show, coached them in stagecraft, authored scripts, designed signature illusions, and even produced magic documentaries.
Among his many consulting credits are acts performed for Britain’s Got Talent, America’s Got Talent, Fool Us, and a large-scale illusion production for the Presidential Family of India, sponsored by BMW, featuring a full-size luxury sedan appearing on stage. His creative impact has led him to sell exclusive illusions to none other than David Copperfield.
As a mentor, Nef has guided performers not only in creating strong artistic identities but also in growing their careers—helping entertainers worldwide scale their influence in an ever-competitive industry.
At FISM 2025, Nef will take the stage with his brand-new lecture: The Most Dangerous Illusion. The title alone is already stirring curiosity—and for good reason. Blending illusion theory, lived experience, and deep reflection on the nature of deception, this is not just a lecture. It’s a revelation. But what lies behind the illusion will remain a surprise—until it’s time for FISM.
