Aldo Ghiurmino is a distinguished Italian historian and author renowned for his invaluable contributions to preserving and documenting the rich heritage of magic. Since joining the Club Magico Italiano (CMI) in 1989, Aldo has been instrumental in chronicling the evolution of magical arts, earning the prestigious “Premio Garatti” in 2006 for his outstanding work with the magazine “Magia Moderna.”

In 2014, Aldo was appointed historian and archivist of the CMI, highlighting his dedication to rigorous historical research. His scholarly works include the essential publication FISM: The Book, a comprehensive history of the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM), tracing the organization’s milestones from its inception in 1948.

Beyond his extensive publications, Aldo actively educates and inspires the magic community through insightful lectures, translations of seminal works into Italian, and participation in major magic conventions worldwide. His tireless dedication to the art and history of magic continues to guide and inform magicians and enthusiasts globally.
